The Trip West
When it was finally time to pack up and move the studio, we loaded up the big Penske rental truck and headed out from the west side of Chicago. That was the first week of October, 2006. 
Five days, 10 frames per minute
With a camera mounted in the cab by trusty men-of-solutions Dan Broten, Art Carrillo and Steve Rischow, I headed west on I-90 to Wisconsin. Then to I-94 through Minnesota and the northern route: North Dakota, Montana, Idaho and Washington.
Overnights were in central Wisconsin; Dickinson, ND; and two in Montana: Joliet and Missoula. But you can make it from Lake Michigan to Puget Sound in 12 minutes and 53 seconds.
